Job Overview

You’ll be the key marketing support behind a new fintech solution, collaborating very closely with the founder to drive organic user acquisition and brand awareness. This isn’t a standard corporate role; we are an early-stage startup where priorities shift day-to-day. You will have the autonomy to help shape our direction by experimenting with new ideas, failing fast, and figuring out what works. This role is perfect for someone who is "hackish" with software—maximizing tools and finding creative ways to grow without a paid ad budget.

Client Overview

Join an innovative fintech startup revolutionizing mobile payments by enabling any device to accept card payments directly through phones. We are currently in a pre-launch phase, moving at a very fast pace to prepare for market entry. You will work in a lean environment where testing, learning, and adaptability are part of the daily routine. You’ll play a crucial role in building our digital presence and community from the ground up. If you require a fixed play book and SOPs this is not a fit.

Schedule: Flexible during Singapore business hours (20 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

  • Organic Growth Execution: Drive user acquisition through LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms without the use of paid ads.
  • Authentic Content Generation: Help brainstorm and create polished, authentic content for both the founder’s personal profile and the company brand (mixture of Reels and posts).
  • Rapid Experimentation: Try new marketing tactics and channels; be comfortable with "failing" an experiment, capturing the data, and pivoting quickly.
  • Smart Funnel Management: Build and maintain lead databases and automated follow-up schedules using HubSpot and other cost-effective tools.
  • Polished Content Creation: Produce high-quality graphics and video reels based on directional guidance and collaborative brainstorming.
  • Web & AI Optimization: Maintain the marketing site in Framer and implement strategies for SEO and LLM (AI search) optimization.
  • Cold Outreach: Manage outreach strategies via email and messaging platforms to build the pre-launch pipeline.
  • Business Operations Support: Provide administrative assistance to the founder, including travel coordination and general operational tasks.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of hands-on marketing experience, specifically in organic growth or startup environments.
  • "Hackish" Problem Solving: A natural ability to maximize software features and find clever, low-cost ways to achieve high-end results.
  • Content Excellence: Experience creating "authentic" social media content that looks professional and polished but feels human.
  • Technical Familiarity: Experience with HubSpot, Framer, and video editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Canva, or Adobe).
  • Modern Marketing Knowledge: Understanding of organic social algorithms, SEO, and how to optimize for LLMs/AI.
  • Independent Execution: High level of self-motivation and the ability to run with a project after a brief directional brainstorm.
