As a Senior Accounting Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing financial reporting and the close process within a high-growth, innovative environment. Responsibilities
- Manage components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Prepare and review reconciliations, including cash, accounts payable, and accounts receivable across multiple systems
- Support the preparation of financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports
- Collaborate with accounting leadership to ensure accurate and timely deliverables
- Prepare supporting documentation for financial statement footnotes
- Perform regular reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and completeness
- Draft journal entries and supporting schedules
- Assist with audit preparation and documentation
- Support system implementations, including data validation and migration
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting
- Background in lending, fintech, or high-growth environments is highly desirable
- Strong experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools
- Demonstrated ability to work with large data sets and synthesize insights into clear outputs
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
