Client Overview:
A mission-driven higher education company dedicated to helping international students achieve their academic dreams in the United States. They specialize in guiding prospective students through complex university application processes and compliance requirements. The company is experiencing rapid growth and expanding its support team to serve more students worldwide.
Schedule:
- Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (US Pacific Time), with a 1-hour unpaid break (40 hours per week)
Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound calls from international students seeking guidance on university applications and admissions processes
- Make strategic outbound calls to follow up on online form submissions from university webpages
- Conduct effective cold calling and engage with hot leads to convert prospects into enrolled students
- Provide patient, detailed explanations of application compliance policies and requirements
- Answer complex questions about admissions procedures, documentation requirements, and timelines
- Maintain professional, culturally sensitive communication with students from diverse backgrounds
- Follow up consistently on student inquiries and track application progress
- Collaborate with team members to meet conversion targets and maintain high customer satisfaction
- Document interactions and maintain accurate records in CRM systems
Skills & Experience:
- Availability: Must be able to work a fixed 8-hour shift between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM Pacific Time (PT).
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, though strong candidates who have not yet completed their degree may also be considered.
- Relevant Experience: Previous experience in education recruitment, admissions, sales, or student advisory roles is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Must have excellent English communication skills (both spoken and written).
- Technical Setup: Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet work environment with minimal background noise.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated, proactive, and able to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment: Candidates should be willing to work on a US schedule and stay in the industry for at least 2 years.
