Chinese Bilingual Relationship Manager

Job Overview

Our client is looking for a proactive and dedicated Chinese Bilingual Relationship Manager to drive their global Customer Care Programme. In this role, you will be a vital advocate for clients across the globe, bridging the gap between technical coordination and world-class client service. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring every client feels supported while promoting value-added services that increase engagement and retention.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM SGT, with 1 hour unpaid/paid break (37.5 hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Relationship Management: Act as the main point of contact for global clients; provide responsive support for technical queries and manage certification schedules and follow-ups.
  • Operational Support: Maintain accurate client records in the CRM; support data entry, quality assurance, and administrative workflows; and coordinate logistics for remote training.
  • Business Development: Assist in client onboarding, renewals, and expansion initiatives; identify upselling opportunities for advisory service growth.
  • Data Reporting: Support the collection and analysis of benchmarking data; help clients interpret performance insights and ensure the timely delivery of data outputs.
  • Internal Coordination: Provide regular updates to stakeholders on client activity and ensure the timely submission of reports for leadership evaluation.
  • Client Advocacy: Promote value-added services and track client feedback to improve overall service performance outcomes.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management, Environmental Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Language Mastery: Absolute fluency in both English and Chinese (written and verbal).
  • Professional Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a client-facing or relationship management role.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce, Zoho, or HubSpot.
  • Industry Interest: A genuine interest in sustainability, responsible tourism, or ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) impact work.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with a self-driven ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in tourism, sustainability, or certification programs is highly desirable.
  • Ability to handle high-volume client data with extreme attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple client needs simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
