Job Description:
As a Print Production Designer, you will handle a mix of artwork updates, data merge tasks, and original design projects. You will work directly with clients to understand their requirements, present design proofs, and refine outputs through to final approval.
This role requires strong technical design skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring all files are print-ready.

This role plays a key part in ensuring that all creative outputs meet both branding standards and technical print requirements.
Schedule:
- Mondays to Fridays, flexible schedule during client’s business hours (Australian Eastern Time, 20 hours per week)
Scope & Engagement:
- Work on a mix of design updates and new creative projects
- Collaborate with both clients and internal production teams
- Ongoing role supporting a variety of client accounts
Responsibilities:
- Design & Artwork Production
- Update and modify existing customer artwork based on project requirements
- Create original designs for marketing materials, signage, and promotional assets
- Perform data merge tasks to prepare files for print production
- Ensure all designs align with branding and project specifications
- Client Communication
- Communicate directly with clients to gather briefs and requirements
- Present design proofs and incorporate feedback efficiently
- Manage client expectations and maintain professional communication
- Act as the main design point of contact for assigned accounts
- File Preparation & Quality Control
- Prepare and format files to be production-ready for various print processes
- Maintain high accuracy in layout, dimensions, and color specifications
- Ensure consistency across all deliverables
- Collaborate with the production team for a smooth handoff
- Project Management
- Manage multiple design requests simultaneously
- Prioritise tasks and meet project deadlines
- Maintain organised file systems and version control
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- 1–2 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in print or production
- Strong written communication skills for client interaction
- Close attention to detail for print accuracy and brand consistency
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Comfortable handling both small edits and full design projects
