Role Overview: Appointment Setter (Insurance)

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Appointment Setter to support outbound lead generation and appointment booking for an insurance sales team. This role focuses on engaging residential prospects, qualifying leads, and scheduling confirmed in-home appointments for field sales representatives. Incentives are available for hitting targets.

Schedule: Full-time (35-40 hours) Sunday-Thursday 2PM-10PM CST 


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume outbound calls to residential insurance leads to generate interest and qualify prospects
  • Schedule confirmed in-home appointments for the field sales team
  • Execute multi-channel follow-up campaigns including phone calls, SMS, and email outreach
  • Re-engage and nurture cold or previously unresponsive leads to maximize conversion opportunities
  • Maintain accurate tracking of lead status, call outcomes, and follow-up activities using spreadsheets or CRM tools
  • Handle inbound inquiries and respond or route prospects appropriately
  • Collaborate closely with field sales agents to confirm and coordinate appointment schedules

Requirements

  • Proven experience in appointment setting, cold calling, or outbound sales (insurance or financial services preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a confident and persuasive phone presence
  • Ability to handle objections and effectively engage residential prospects
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a target-driven environment
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing large lead databases
  • Experience using dialers, CRM systems, or lead management tools is an advantage

Scope of Work

  • Full-time role supporting the end-to-end appointment pipeline for the sales team
  • Multi-touch outreach across phone, SMS, and email channels
  • Work with both digital and manual lead lists containing prospect contact information
  • Coordinate directly with field sales agents to ensure accurate scheduling of in-home visits
  • Utilize a VoIP dialer with a U.S. local number for outbound calling
