Job Overview

As a Graphic Designer specializing in sign production, you are the critical link between a client's concept and the physical manufacturing process. This role is highly technical and production-focused, requiring you to master the art of vectorization—turning varied client files into flawless, production-ready vector artwork. You will be responsible for creating precise shop drawings and mockups that impose designs onto real-world surfaces with exact measurements, ensuring what the client sees is exactly what can be built. This is a high-volume, fast-paced position where Adobe Illustrator proficiency and a deep understanding of sign industry specifications are essential to ensuring every PDF and vector file is ready for the factory floor.

Your Role: Graphic Designer

Schedule: Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm with 1 hr unpaid break EST

Responsibilities:

  • Vectorize client-provided files and convert them into production-ready vector artwork
  • Create shop drawings by imposing design concepts onto images of client surfaces with accurate measurements
  • Develop visual mockups and proofs for client approval before production
  • Generate final vector production files and PDF deliverables for the signage manufacturing process
  • Manage a high volume of daily design conversions while maintaining quality and accuracy
  • Ensure all design files meet technical specifications required for sign production

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator (APPLICATIONS WITH PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED)
  • Must have Adobe software installed and ready to use on their own system
  • Background experience in the sign industry is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of vectorization and production file preparation
  • High level of attention to detail, especially with measurements and file accuracy
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
