Performance Video Editor

Overview

Join a high-performance team dedicated to driving results through platform-native video content under the oversight of the Creative Strategist. This role is perfect for a fast yet meticulous editor who thrives in a fast-paced environment, blending UGC, AI, and polished footage into high-converting Meta ads where compelling hooks drive measurable performance.

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday during UK Business Hours

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a strong daily volume of video edits across Meta Reels, Stories, and Feed, utilizing UGC, AI, and polished camera footage
  • Produce and resize variations of existing and new content to support structured testing of hooks, pacing, and messaging
  • Action briefs exclusively through the designated system, keeping statuses updated and meeting all agreed timelines
  • Flag blockers, capacity risks, or unclear briefs to the Creative Strategist immediately to ensure seamless delivery
  • Apply creative principles like strong hook construction and native storytelling to ensure edits drive results, not just aesthetics
  • Partner with strategists to identify creative fatigue and contribute ideas that bridge high quality with performance goals
  • Review all edits for audio sync, caption accuracy, and platform spec compliance with a zero-tolerance policy for errors
  • Precisely follow client brand guidelines and tone across all projects to ensure consistency and reduce briefing friction
  • Internalize feedback from the Creative Strategist to reduce revision rounds and improve first-draft accuracy
  • Operate strictly within the established approval workflow, attending regular check-ins to align on priorities and quality benchmarks

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience as a Video Editor, ideally within a digital marketing, paid social, or performance creative environment (APPLICATIONS WITH PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED)
  • Strong working knowledge of Meta ad formats, specs, and video creative best practices across Reels, Stories, and Feed placements
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or After Effects; familiarity with CapCut or similar tools is advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to edit across a range of content styles - UGC, AI-generated, and high-production footage - to a consistently high standard
  • Solid understanding of performance video principles: hook structure, pacing, caption strategy, and format-native editing
  • Able to manage multiple briefs across multiple clients simultaneously
  • Exceptional attention to detail across edit quality, audio, copy accuracy, file management, and asset naming
  • Experience with brief or project management tools (e.g. Asana, Monday.com, Notion) is advantageous
  • Comfortable working independently, managing your own time and output remotely

Independent Contractor Perks

  • Permanent work from home
  • Immediate hiring
  • Health Insurance Coverage for eligible locations
