Job Overview

As the Shopify  Developer, you will be the technical lead for a high-stakes migration and marketplace transformation. Your primary mission is to successfully move a massive catalog of 8,000+ SKUs from CS-Cart to Shopify while simultaneously architecting a robust multi-vendor marketplace environment. This role requires a blend of data-integrity precision and back-end development expertise to ensure that vendor onboarding is seamless, product categorization is flawless, and the platform remains high-performing post-migration. You will act as the go-to technical resource, resolving complex support tickets and providing daily strategic updates as you scale the platform's functionality.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week flexible schedule

Responsibilities:

• Lead the full migration of approximately 8,000 SKUs from CS-Cart to a Shopify-based marketplace platform
• Configure and maintain multi-vendor marketplace functionality on Shopify, ensuring seamless vendor onboarding
• Create and manage new product SKUs, ensuring accurate listings and proper categorization
• Troubleshoot and resolve back-end technical issues and support tickets forwarded by the internal team
• Provide daily progress reports and updates on migration milestones and ongoing tasks
• Monitor website performance and ensure all marketplace features operate correctly post-migration

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Shopify development, including multi-vendor or marketplace setups
• Demonstrated experience with large-scale platform migrations involving thousands of product SKUs
• Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, including product data management and catalog organization
• High level of attention to detail to ensure data integrity throughout the migration process
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision
