Job Overview
This role supports the CEO in managing e-commerce operations, customer communications, and coordination with social media and IT teams. The position requires someone who can work independently, think proactively, and manage multiple tasks across product management, customer service, and digital asset organization. This is a hands-on role requiring both execution of daily tasks and strategic thinking to improve processes and customer experience.
Schedule: Mon-Fri 40 hours per week (Flexible hours to cover California business hours)

Responsibilities

Upload and manage product listings on e-commerce platforms including product descriptions, pricing, images, and configurator backend settings

Organize and maintain digital asset library ensuring photos and marketing materials are properly categorized and accessible to the social media team via ClickUp

Coordinate with freight logistics partners to track shipments and provide bi-weekly updates to customers on package status until delivery completion

Manage customer pipeline from purchase through delivery including post-delivery follow-up for testimonials, referrals, and after-sales service

Respond to customer inquiries via live chat and phone during off-hours when the CEO is unavailable, escalating complex customization questions as needed

Communicate with IT development team to ensure website functionality, fix issues like logo placement, and troubleshoot configurator problems

Collaborate with social media team through ClickUp providing creative assets, content ideas, and guidance to maintain luxury brand positioning

Conduct competitor research including mystery shopping calls to identify best practices for white glove delivery services and pricing strategies

Create and maintain organized records in Excel for pricing changes, product specifications, and operational processes

Participate in daily huddles with the CEO to align on priorities, receive direction, and provide proactive suggestions for process improvements
Requirements

Minimum 3 years experience in e-commerce operations including product upload, catalog management, and backend platform administration

Strong proficiency with WordPress or similar e-commerce platforms with understanding of product configurators and customer-facing functionality

Advanced skills in Google Workspace including Gmail, Excel, and file organization systems

Experience with ClickUp or similar project management tools for cross-team collaboration

Understanding of luxury e-commerce customer expectations including the importance of detailed product information, high-quality imagery, and responsive service

Previous experience in furniture, home decor, or interior design e-commerce
