Job Description:

This is an exceptional opportunity to become the financial backbone of a growing construction and real estate development business. You’ll take ownership of comprehensive bookkeeping operations across multiple business entities while providing crucial administrative support that keeps operations running smoothly. Responsibilities:

  • Manage comprehensive bookkeeping and data entry using QuickBooks Enterprise software
  • Process and file one-employee payroll with California state requirements
  • Handle professional email management and correspondence
  • Maintain and organize spreadsheets for various business operations and projects
  • Provide appointment scheduling and calendar management support
  • Process financial data across multiple business entities (construction company plus 3-4 additional companies)
  • Manage personal bookkeeping tasks for the business owner
  • Organize and maintain accurate financial records across all business entities
  • Support general administrative tasks to enhance operational efficiency

Requirements:

  • Proven proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise software (essential)
  • Previous accounting and bookkeeping experience with demonstrated success
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems
  • Responsible work approach with the ability to handle confidential financial information
  • Experience with spreadsheet management and accurate data entry
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
  • Excellent communication skills for professional correspondence
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
