Our client is looking for an experienced Property Management Assistant to provide end-to-end administrative and tenant coordination support. This role is ideal for someone with prior experience in property management, leasing administration, and maintenance coordination. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, responsive, and confident in handling tenant-facing communication while ensuring all property records and workflows remain up to date.
Client Overview
Our client is a growing property management business in the US focused on residential leasing, tenant support, and day-to-day property operations. They are seeking a highly organized and proactive Property Management Assistant to support administrative workflows, tenant communications, and property listing management across their portfolio.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST, with a 30-minute paid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities
- Draft leases, rental agreements, and supporting tenancy paperwork
- Complete and process Section 8 forms (US Housing) and related documentation
- Create and manage online listings for available properties
- Update website vacancies and property availability pages
- Respond to rental inquiries and availability questions via email, phone, and messaging platforms
- Perform accurate data entry into the property management software
- Communicate with tenants through phone, email, and WhatsApp
- Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up with vendors and tenants
- Manage move-in and move-out checklists and documentation
- Coordinate utility transfers, including electric, gas, water, and related services
- Provide general administrative support across day-to-day operations
- Assist with workflow automation and process improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Previous experience in property management, leasing administration, or real estate support
- Strong experience handling tenant communication and rental inquiries
- Familiarity with lease preparation and property documentation
- Experience with Section 8 / United States housing assistance documentation preferred
- Proficiency in property management software and CRM systems
Side Note
This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
