Job Description:
You’ll be the voice of exceptional hospitality for a dynamic restaurant group, directly impacting guest satisfaction and loyalty with every interaction. This role puts you at the center of the guest journey, where you’ll manage high-volume communications across multiple channels while helping create memorable dining experiences. Client Overview:
A thriving restaurant group operating multiple locations across Singapore, serving guests Monday through Saturday with a focus on exceptional hospitality and seamless dining experiences. They leverage modern technology platforms to streamline guest communications and create memorable experiences from first contact through reservation completion.
Schedule:
- Mondays to Fridays, flexible schedule based on the client’s business hours—between 10:30 am and 8:00 pm (Singapore Time, 20 hours per week, 4 hours per day)
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming phone calls from restaurant guests for reservations and general inquiries
- Manage guest communications through the Zendesk platform, responding to WhatsApp, SMS, and email messages
- Input and manage restaurant reservations using the Seven Rooms table management system
- Resolve guest issues and concerns across multiple communication channels
- Provide exceptional customer service that enhances the overall guest experience
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and reservation details
- Support seamless guest journey from initial inquiry to reservation completion
- Collaborate with restaurant teams to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills for phone-based customer service
- Must have restaurant or hospitality industry experience
- Experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills for handling guest inquiries and issues
- Professional phone manner and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask effectively across different communication channels
- Bonus if you have experience with Zendesk or similar customer service platforms
- It helps if you’re familiar with reservation management systems
