Our client is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Management Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced holiday rental business. This role is ideal for someone with experience in short-term rental platforms and property management systems who can efficiently manage listings, guest communications, payment tracking, and administrative support tasks. The ideal candidate is proactive, tech-savvy, and comfortable handling repetitive operational tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Client Overview

Our client is a growing holiday rental and property management business specializing in professionally managed coastal accommodation properties across premium leisure destinations in Australia. They focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences, seamless booking support, and high-quality property operations across multiple booking platforms. Their portfolio includes a diverse range of short-term rental homes tailored for memorable guest stays, supported by strong local expertise and responsive customer service.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM Torquay VIC (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Manage and load property listings across multiple booking platforms such as Airbnb and Booking.com, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Handle repetitive administrative tasks including adding and deducting fees, updating records, and maintaining organized documentation
  • Draft and publish guest reviews on behalf of the property management team to maintain a strong online reputation
  • Respond to guest inquiries and support requests via email and phone, delivering a professional and timely customer experience
  • Assist with payment reconciliation and tracking incoming payments within the property management system
  • Maintain and update data in Excel spreadsheets to support reporting and operational efficiency

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in property management
  • Experience with Guesty or a similar property management system, with familiarity in Airbnb and Booking.com
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and general comfort with learning and navigating new software platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
