Role Overview:
We’re looking for a hands-on AI Developer to design, build, and maintain automation pipelines and AI-powered tools that support our internal teams and contractor clients.
This role lives at the intersection of AI, APIs, and practical business automation. You’ll work directly with leadership to turn ideas into working systems—fast. This isn’t a research role. We need a builder who can take a spec, connect the dots between APIs, AI models, and internal workflows, and ship reliable solutions that our team actually uses every day.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with 1 hour unpaid break. Eastern timezone.
Independent Contractor Perks
HMO Coverage for eligible locations
Permanent work from home

Steady freelance job
What You’ll Build:
• AI-powered automation pipelines using Claude API, n8n, and custom scripts

• RAG-based tools for internal knowledge retrieval
What We’re Looking For:
Mindset & Work Style

• Self-learning—you stay current with AI tools, models, and best practices on your own
• Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight in a fast-paced agency
environment
Technical Skills (Required)
• API fluency: Comfortable working with RESTful APIs, webhooks, and authentication flows
(OAuth, API keys)
• Programming fundamentals: Conceptual understanding of how code executes—you can
read, debug, and write basic scripts (Python, JavaScript, or similar)
• CLI proficiency: Comfortable navigating the command line, running scripts, managing files,
and working in terminal-based environments
• Markup & config languages: Working knowledge of HTML, YAML, Markdown, and JSON
• Databases: Practical experience with PostgreSQL, Supabase, MongoDB, or similar—writing
queries, designing schemas, managing data
• Docker: Working knowledge of containers—building, running, and troubleshooting
Dockerized applications
• Basic DevOps: Familiarity with GCP and/or AWS—you don’t need to be a cloud architect,
but you should be comfortable deploying, managing environments, and navigating cloud
consoles
• Automation platforms: Experience with tools like n8n, Zapier, Make, or similar workflow
automation platforms
AI-Specific Experience (Required)
• Hands-on experience with Claude Code (terminal-based agentic coding)
• Familiarity with OpenClaw or similar AI agent frameworks
• Experience building with the Anthropic Claude API (prompt engineering, structured outputs,
tool use)
• Understanding of AI-assisted development workflows and when to use AI vs. manual
approaches
Nice to Have:
• Experience with Lovable, Supabase, or Vercel
• Familiarity with CallRail, ServiceTitan, HubSpot, or Google Ads APIs
• Background in digital marketing, agencies, or home services
• Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers and connectors
