Job Overview

You’ll join an established marketing team to provide specialized SEO services for an exciting client in the food and hospitality sector. This bakery business specializes in cakes and pastries and needs your expertise to enhance their online presence and attract more customers. You’ll work directly with an experienced team that values quality results and client satisfaction, giving you the opportunity to make a real impact on a local business’s growth.

Schedule: 20 hours per week, Monday - Friday: 10AM-2PM CDT

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement SEO strategies for a bakery/cake business client
• Conduct keyword research and optimization for the food and hospitality industry
• Support the existing team’s SEO efforts and expand their capacity
• Collaborate directly with the agency owner and team members
• Monitor and report on SEO performance and improvements
• Optimize website content and structure for search engines
• Build and execute link-building strategies appropriate for local businesses
• Provide ongoing SEO maintenance and optimization

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on SEO experience
• Proven track record with portfolio demonstrating previous SEO work and client results
• Experience with local SEO and small business optimization preferred
• Bonus if you have experience in the food, hospitality, or retail industries
• It helps if you’re familiar with local business marketing challenges
• Strong communication skills for client collaboration
• Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team

• This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
