Job Overview
You’ll be the backbone of daily operations, handling essential bookkeeping tasks that free up the business owner to focus on sales and growth. This role offers the perfect blend of routine accounting work and exciting project-based assignments, including potential client-facing responsibilities as you prove your capabilities. You’ll work independently with minimal supervision while having the support and growth opportunities of a scaling business.
Schedule: Part-time (20 hours per week, 4 hours daily Monday-Friday) with potential to scale to full-time (40 hours per week) as business grows

Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations to keep business running smoothly
- Execute journal entries and set up asset and liability accounts with precision
- Navigate QuickBooks for standard accounting functions and client management
- Master Double software for project tracking, task management, and client communication logging
- Utilize Go High Level CRM and Google Workspace suite for business operations
- Complete specialized projects including tax return preparation and audit support
- Participate in innovative “no homework meetings” where tasks are completed in real-time during client calls
- Take ownership of projects with initial guidance, then execute independently
- Support data migration projects as business needs evolve
Requirements:
- Solid accounting foundation with understanding of accounting equation and fundamental principles
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Online, and strong technology aptitude for learning new platforms
- Experience with project management software and CRM systems (or eagerness to learn)
- Advanced skills in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Forms, etc.)
- Strong communication skills for potential client interactions
- Excellent organizational abilities and deadline management
- Independent work style with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Bonus if you have 3-5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
- It helps if you’re comfortable with both routine tasks and dynamic project work
