Job Overview
Our client is looking for a Full-Charge Bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks expertise who can take full ownership of bookkeeping across multiple entities. This role goes beyond basic bookkeeping—you will be responsible for maintaining clean, accurate books and turning financial data into clear, actionable insights that support business decisions.

Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Bookkeeping
- Manage end-to-end bookkeeping for 3–4 entities
- Maintain and update QuickBooks Online records
- Handle transaction categorization and data entry
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Ensure accuracy and consistency across all financial records
Financial Reporting
- Prepare and deliver monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements
- Generate financial reports and summaries
- Create month-over-month and trend comparisons
- Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and decision-ready
Financial Analysis & Insights
- Interpret financial data and provide clear, actionable insights
- Answer business-related financial questions confidently
- Identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities
- Proactively suggest improvements in financial tracking and processes
Multi-Entity Management
- Maintain separate books for each company
- Ensure proper allocation of income and expenses per entity
- Support scaling as additional businesses become operational
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Full-Charge or Senior Bookkeeper
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online (non-negotiable)
- Experience managing multiple entities simultaneously
- Strong understanding of the following: Bank and credit card reconciliation, Chart of accounts, and Financial reporting (P&L, trends, comparisons)
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Professional written and verbal English communication
Qualifications
- Experience working with U.S.-based businesses
- Background in service-based or multi-location companies
- Familiarity with financial reporting for growing businesses

- Books are consistently clean, accurate, and up-to-date
- Monthly reports are delivered on time without follow-ups
- Financial data is translated into clear, useful insights
- Minimal need for direction, correction, or rework
- Ability to confidently respond to financial questions
Important Note
Our client is specifically looking for someone who can operate independently. This role is not suitable for candidates who require training or close supervision in QuickBooks or bookkeeping fundamentals.

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
