Responsibilities:

  • Manage comprehensive bookkeeping for single family house construction projects from start to finish
  • Track and reconcile all construction-related expenses and day-to-day company operations
  • Handle tenant payment tracking and management across multiple rental properties
  • Upload utility charges and manage tenant communications through DoorLoop property management software
  • Perform cleanup and organization of existing financial records (approximately 3,000 transactions)
  • Run daily reconciliations and maintain accurate expense tracking across all business activities
  • Work seamlessly with DoorLoop property management software and QuickBooks integration
  • Establish improved financial processes and systems to support business growth

Requirements:

  • Accounting degree or equivalent professional qualification
  • Previous experience working at accounting firms in the US
  • Strong expertise in bookkeeping and financial reconciliation
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks (DoorLoop experience is a bonus if you have it)
  • Ability to work independently and manage complex, high-volume financial records
  • Strong attention to detail for handling large volumes of transactions
  • Bonus if you have real estate or construction industry bookkeeping experience
  • It helps if you’re comfortable with property management software and tenant-related accounting
