Job Overview

Our client is looking for a specialist who will own the paid advertising strategy for a business ready to take the next level. This isn’t about taking orders – you’ll be the expert who guides strategy, sets up campaigns, and optimizes performance across multiple platforms. The founder excels at creative work and product design but needs a specialist who can handle the technical side of paid advertising and social media strategy. You’ll have the autonomy to build campaigns from scratch and the opportunity to make a significant impact on a growing business.

Client Overview

Join a rapidly growing $500K e-commerce business that’s ready to scale beyond their current platform success. This creative company has built a strong foundation on Etsy and is now expanding to their own Shopify store, targeting primarily US customers. You’ll be their first dedicated marketing specialist, helping establish a comprehensive digital presence across multiple channels.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 1:00 PM/2:00 PM - 5:00 PM/6:00 PM UK/EST (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Set up and manage paid advertising campaigns on Meta (Facebook and Instagram)
  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media advertising strategies across Google PPC, Pinterest, and TikTok
  • Optimize ad targeting, budgets, and performance to maximize ROI
  • Help establish and grow the founder’s personal brand and online presence
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide strategic optimization recommendations
  • Support the transition from Etsy-only marketing to multi-platform digital marketing
  • Create and implement social media marketing strategies beyond just paid advertising
  • Scale advertising efforts as the business grows and content capacity increases

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in Meta advertising platform (Facebook and Instagram ads)
  • Strong understanding of US market and consumer behavior
  • Experience with Google PPC, Pinterest advertising, and other social media platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to set up, manage, and optimize paid advertising campaigns independently
  • Knowledge of social media strategy beyond just paid advertising
  • Experience helping founders/executives build personal brand presence
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Portfolio or case studies demonstrating successful social media advertising results
  • Must understand and target the US market
  • Portfolio AND META ADS/Google ADS is a total must

Qualifications

  • Bonus if you have experience with e-commerce businesses transitioning from marketplace platforms
  • Experience with Shopify and e-commerce conversion optimization is a plus
