Job Description:

You’ll be the welcoming voice that patients hear when they reach out for pain relief and medical care. This role puts you at the heart of a healthcare practice where your bilingual skills directly impact patient comfort and access to care. You’ll work closely with the practice owner and remote office manager as an integral team member, handling essential front-desk operations that keep the practice running smoothly while serving a meaningful mission in healthcare.

Client Overview:

A growing pain management practice in New York that serves a diverse, predominantly Spanish-speaking patient community. The practice values compassionate care and has successfully integrated remote team members to enhance patient service while maintaining operational efficiency.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Eastern Time (New York) with 30 minutes paid break (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming patient calls with warmth and professionalism in both English and Spanish
• Coordinate seamlessly with the remote office manager on backend operations and patient flow
• Perform accurate data entry and maintain patient documentation systems
• Scan and organize PDF files and medical documentation
• Provide exceptional customer service that puts patients at ease during vulnerable moments
• Support front desk operations remotely while maintaining HIPAA compliance standards
• Assist with appointment scheduling and patient communication follow-ups
• Help bridge language barriers for Spanish-speaking patients seeking pain management care

Requirements:

• Fluent in both English and Spanish (bilingual communication required)
• Experience working remotely with reliable internet and home office setup
• HIPAA compliance knowledge and commitment to patient privacy
• Warm, welcoming personality with strong interpersonal skills
• Bonus if you have medical or healthcare field experience
• It helps if you’re comfortable learning new systems quickly (most tasks can be mastered in minutes)

• This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
