E-commerce & Social Media Growth Specialist

Job Overview

Our client is looking for a dedicated and proactive Social Media & E-commerce Manager to oversee their digital presence and online sales operations. This role is a blend of creative content creation and technical e-commerce management, with a focus on scaling the brand across multiple platforms. The successful candidate will spend approximately 70% of their time on social media management and 30% on administrative support, reporting directly to the company founder.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 02:00 PM Melbourne Time (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a social media presence across Instagram, Meta platforms, and TikTok.
  • Create consistent, engaging social media content and posts using Canva and AI tools.
  • Set up and manage an Amazon storefront for product listings.
  • Execute AdWords campaigns and sponsored ad strategies.
  • Maintain and optimize Shopify website functionality.
  • Implement email capture systems and abandoned cart recovery processes.
  • Conduct outreach to potential stockists via email.
  • Support general sales administration and lead follow-up activities.
  • Generate user-generated content (UGC) style videos using AI tools.

Requirements

  • Mid-senior-level experience in social media management and e-commerce.
  • Proven experience with Shopify platform management and Amazon storefront setup.
  • Experience with Meta advertising and Google AdWords campaigns.
  • Proficiency in Canva and familiarity with AI content creation tools.
  • E-commerce experience, preferably with consumer products.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a proactive work approach.

  • This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
