About the Role
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Bookkeeping & Accounting Support Specialist to support financial operations across multiple entities, including both service-based and real estate businesses.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, high-accountability environment and is confident managing high-volume reconciliations, transaction processing, and financial records with accuracy and consistency.
You will play a key role in ensuring clean books, supporting month-end processes, and maintaining transparency in day-to-day financial operations.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records across 6 companies using QuickBooks Online and Google Workspace
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations for ~18 bank accounts and 6 credit cards
- Process financial transactions and ensure accurate categorization across multiple business types (service + real estate)
- Provide daily work summaries and maintain clear communication with the management team
- Collaborate closely with the client’s assistant, who manages a large portion of communication workflows
- Support month-end close activities and assist with financial reporting as needed
- Maintain strict adherence to data security protocols using secure remote work tools
- Accurately track time and productivity using time-tracking systems
- Ensure all tasks are completed on time while maintaining a high level of accuracy
What We’re Looking For (Requirements)
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably supporting multiple entities
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO), including reconciliations and transaction management
- Experience handling high-volume bank and credit card reconciliations
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals (reconciliations, expense categorization, reporting basics)
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under volume
- Comfortable working in a remote, time-tracked environment
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear daily updates
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with stakeholders
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential financial data
Nice to Have
- Experience in real estate accounting
- Familiarity with tools like Hubdoc, Dext, or similar platforms
- Exposure to month-end close and reporting workflows
- Experience working with remote or outsourced teams
