Job Description (JD)
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to manage full sets of accounts and support financial operations across the group. This role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with reporting and compliance, and the ability to work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full sets of accounts including GL, AP, AR, treasury, accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets
- Perform month-end closing and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Support audits, tax filings, GST reporting, and preparation of financial statements
- Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations across entities
- Assist in financial modelling, budgeting, reporting, and cash flow forecasting
- Liaise with shared service teams, banks, auditors, and external stakeholders
- Develop and improve financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Support ad-hoc finance projects and process improvements
Qualifications / Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (Singapore Financial Reporting Standards)
- Proven experience handling full set of accounts
- Experience with GST compliance and financial consolidation
- Proficiency in accounting systems (preferably Xero)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple entities and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience
