Job Overview

Client Overview
The client is a non-emergency medical transportation company based in Columbus, Ohio, specializing in stretcher transport and medical support services. They serve patients requiring structured transportation with EMT assistance, oxygen administration, and specialized medical care during transit.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST, with 1 hour unpaid/paid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities
- Contact a provided list of nursing homes, retirement communities, and dialysis centers to introduce transportation services and identify opportunities.
- Locate and communicate with decision-makers responsible for arranging patient transportation within each facility.
- Maintain detailed records of all calls including contact information, conversation outcomes, decision-maker details, and follow-up requirements.
- Identify facilities without current transportation partnerships and work to secure contracts for services.
- Document facilities under existing contracts and assess whether their current needs are being met to identify potential service gaps.
- Conduct needs assessment conversations to understand facility requirements and position services as solutions.
- Follow up consistently with prospects and maintain an organized tracking system for all outreach activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development, B2B sales, or outbound sales roles with demonstrated success in securing new business.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain detailed records and track multiple ongoing conversations and follow-ups.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to navigate gatekeepers, identify decision-makers, and build rapport with healthcare facility staff.
Qualifications
- Nice-to-Have: Experience working with healthcare facilities, medical services, or healthcare-related industries.
- Nice-to-Have: Familiarity with CRM systems or call tracking software for managing prospect pipelines and documentation.
