Job Description: You’ll be the first point of contact with potential solar customers, playing a crucial role in expanding access to renewable energy solutions. Schedule: 

Agent 1: 8 AM–5 PM (8 hours, including 1-hour unpaid break)

Agent 2: 11 AM–8 PM (8 hours, including 1-hour unpaid break)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-volume cold calling using provided scripts and Mojo dialer system (triple power line capability)
  • Deliver compelling initial pitches about solar energy solutions to residential prospects
  • Handle client questions, address hesitations, and overcome objections professionally using proven techniques
  • Filter and screen leads to identify qualified prospects ready for next steps
  • Secure strong commitments from interested prospects and schedule appointments
  • Coordinate seamlessly with field sales closers for in-person job site visits
  • Update lead records with detailed notes and call outcomes in tracking systems
  • Follow up strategically with prospects to maintain engagement and momentum
  • Work closely with sales team leader to optimize conversion rates and appointment quality

Requirements:

  • Experience in Sales/Appointment setter is a must - SOLAR sales is a big plus
  • Comfortable with high-volume calling environments and resilient to rejection
  • Strong listening skills to identify prospect needs, concerns, and buying signals
  • Ability to follow proven scripts while maintaining natural, conversational flow
  • Basic computer skills for lead management and CRM system updates
  • Self-motivated mindset with focus on achieving daily and weekly targets
  • Bonus if you have previous sales or appointment setting experience
  • It helps if you’re familiar with solar energy or home improvement industries

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
