Finance Senior Sales Officer
Job Overview
Our client is looking for a sharp, proactive, and highly capable Finance Senior Sales Officer to join a fast-growing private lending company that is redefining access to capital for Australian SMEs. This is a high-level operational role—not a traditional administrative position. You will serve as a key pillar of the business, taking ownership of critical financial workflows, client success, and operational coordination in a high-velocity environment.
The company provides short-term business loans from $5,000 to $100,000 with a promise of approval and funding within two hours. Your role will be instrumental in maintaining the operational precision required to deliver on that promise while ensuring a seamless experience for business owners seeking urgent funding.
Schedule
-
Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM AEST, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 hours per week)
Independent Contractor Perks
- Permanent work from home
- Immediate hiring
- Health Insurance Coverage for eligible locations
Responsibilities Sales & Execution
- Own the end-to-end sales process—from lead engagement to closing—with a focus on converting broker-referred opportunities.
- Take a commercial, execution-first approach to driving outcomes, prioritizing speed and conversion.
- Conduct consultative conversations with brokers and business owners to understand their needs and position lending solutions effectively.
- Manage a pipeline of active deals, ensuring timely follow-up and movement through the application-to-funding process.
Full Loan Lifecycle Ownership
- Understand and manage the full lifecycle of the loan, including origination, funding, and collections.
- Apply a collections mindset—assessing risk, understanding cash flow impact, and ensuring quality originations that perform.
- Work closely with internal teams to monitor portfolio performance and address collection issues as they arise.
Leadership & Operational Rebuild
- Step into a leadership capacity to help rebuild and structure the sales function, bringing order to a fast-moving environment.
- Develop and refine sales processes, workflows, and best practices to improve efficiency and team performance.
- Operate as a player-coach—actively closing deals while coaching, guiding, and holding team members accountable.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless handoffs and a high-quality client experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior sales role within high-volume, short-term lending or a fast-paced financial services environment.
- Demonstrated success in end-to-end sales execution (not just lead qualification or relationship management).
- Team lead or management experience with a player-coach approach.
- Highly commercial and execution-focused—driven by outcomes, accountability, and speed.
- Collections experience or mindset—understands the importance of quality originations that impact cash flow.
- Comfortable working in a slightly chaotic environment with the ability to build structure.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust quickly and close deals.
- Highly organized and self-motivated—able to manage a pipeline independently.
Side Note
This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits. Professional hourly fees are established based on your performance in the application process.
