Position Overview
We are looking for a Social Media Handler / Community Management & Outreach Specialist to manage client accounts and drive engagement across various social media platforms.
This role requires a strong understanding of social media trends, audience engagement, and content strategy, along with excellent attention to detail and communication skills. The ideal candidate is creative, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple accounts while maintaining brand voice and consistency.
Work Arrangement
- Fully remote
- 40 hours per week
- Schedule within 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST (to be finalized)

Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
Manage multiple client accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.), schedule and optimize posts, ensure alignment with brand guidelines, monitor trends, and recommend content ideas.
Community Management
Respond to comments and messages, engage with followers, monitor conversations, flag issues or opportunities, and maintain a consistent brand voice.
Content Creation & Ideation
Develop content ideas, assist with basic visuals (graphics, captions), collaborate on campaigns, and stay updated on trends and best practices.
Outreach & Engagement
Support partnerships, collaborations, and influencer engagement, identify visibility opportunities, and assist in growing audience reach organically.
Administrative & Tools
Manage tasks using Asana and G Suite, utilize social media platforms (Vista Social or similar), and maintain organized records.
Required Qualifications
Experience in social media or community management, strong English skills, attention to detail, understanding of platforms and trends, ability to manage multiple accounts, and work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Asana, G Suite, Vista Social, basic design skills (Canva, Adobe), content ideation, campaign planning, and digital marketing/community engagement background.
Side Note
This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits. Professional hourly fees are established based on your performance in the application process.
