Role Overview
Technical Moodle Specialist to manage the final stages of launch and ongoing maintenance of our e-learning platform. The ideal candidate is a Moodle "power user" who is comfortable with back-end administration, site customization, and troubleshooting. The candidate will also be responsible for ensuring our iSpring Suite content integrates seamlessly into the LMS.

Key Responsibilities

• Moodle Administration: Manage site settings, user roles, plugins, and theme customizations.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and fix "bugs" or display errors within the Moodle environment.
• Course Integration: Upload and test SCORM/HTML5 packages (primarily from iSpring Suite) to ensure tracking and grading work perfectly.
• Light Development: Perform small amounts of PHP/HTML/CSS coding to tweak the site’s look or functionality.
• Quality Assurance: Test the learner journey from registration to certificate issuance to ensure a smooth user experience.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience building and managing Moodle websites.
• Strong understanding of Moodle’s back-end (plugins, backups, and security).
• Technical Requirement: Must have a Windows-based PC (to run the iSpring Suite & Microsoft Office effectively).
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and a solid grasp of e-learning authoring (SCORM/xAPI).
• Comfortable with basic web coding (HTML/CSS).

Preferred (But not required)

• Direct experience with iSpring Suite.

• This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
