Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Inbound Leasing Lead Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for prospective tenants. In this role, you will handle all inbound leasing inquiries in a professional, responsive, and organized manner while utilizing AppFolio to manage leads, schedule showings, and support the leasing pipeline. Acting in a receptionist-style capacity, you will play a critical role in delivering a positive first impression of the property management company and ensuring no opportunity is missed.

Schedule: 9am-6pm Washington, DC time

Key Responsibilities
● Serve as the primary contact for all inbound leasing inquiries via phone, email, website, and
listing platforms
● Respond promptly and professionally to prospective tenant questions regarding property
availability, pricing, and qualifications
● Utilize AppFolio to track, manage, and update leasing leads and communication history
● Schedule property showings and coordinate with leasing agents or property managers
● Pre-qualify applicants based on company criteria and guide them through next steps
● Maintain organized records of all inquiries, follow-ups, and outcomes
● Ensure timely follow-up with prospects to maximize conversion rates
● Provide general office/reception support related to leasing inquiries
● Collaborate with the property management team to ensure accurate and up-to-date listing information.

Qualifications
● Prior experience in property management, leasing, or a high-volume customer service or
reception role
● Hands-on experience with AppFolio (required)
● Strong verbal and written communication skills
● Excellent organizational and time management abilities
● Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of inquiries efficiently
● Professional demeanor with a customer-first mindset
● Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations (preferred)

● Experience handling inbound sales or leasing funnels
● Strong follow-up discipline and lead conversion awareness
● Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn property management systems
