Job Overview

Our client is looking for a Spanish Bilingual Social Media Video Editor focused on short-form video platforms, primarily TikTok and Instagram. The main objective is to scale brand awareness, engagement, and conversions through strategic content editing, scheduling, and performance tracking. This role supports both a boutique lifestyle brand, Goldie, and a personal brand account centered on lifestyle, fitness, and running. Our client is seeking a strategic partner who understands fashion and influencer marketing, platform trends, and how to translate raw content into high-performing posts that resonate with a targeted audience.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, Any time between 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM CST (40 work hours per week)

    Note: Flexible during client business hours. This role follows a "follow the sun" workflow where content filmed during the day is edited and posted overnight to ensure consistent distribution.

Responsibilities

  • Video Production: Edit short-form content for TikTok and Instagram Reels using CapCut or similar software, focusing on high-retention styles and viral hooks.
  • Content Distribution: Manage posting cadence, schedule content, and optimize videos with trending sounds, captions, and formatting to maximize reach.
  • Community Engagement: Monitor comments and assist with high-quality engagement across all social platforms.
  • Performance Analytics: Track analytics and metrics across posts, identifying patterns in high-performing content to improve future video strategy.
  • Influencer & Affiliate Support: Support influencer collaborations, creator outreach, and affiliate marketing initiatives via platforms like ShopMy, LTK, and Pinterest.
  • Brand Identity: Ensure a consistent brand aesthetic across all content, highlighting clothing details and styling in an aspirational yet authentic way.

Requirements

  • Language: Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and professional proficiency in English.
  • Technical Skills: Strong experience in short-form video editing (CapCut preferred) and expert knowledge of the TikTok algorithm and trends.
  • Marketing Expertise: Proven experience in influencer marketing, affiliate marketing, and social media growth strategies.
  • Platform Management: Hands-on experience posting and managing content across TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to identify storytelling formats and hooks that drive watch time, retention, and product sales.
  • Industry Background: Previous experience working with fashion brands, boutiques, or lifestyle influencers is highly preferred.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in managing videos that achieved significant reach (e.g., 100k+ views).
  • Proven ability to grow social media accounts through organic strategy.
  • Experience with ShopMy, LTK, and Pinterest marketing.
  • Portfolio or examples showing "before and after" raw footage versus final edited content.

Side Note

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
