Job Overview

Our client is looking for a strategic and detail-oriented SEO specialist to lead campaigns for 10–15 clients across various industries. This role is perfect for a technical SEO expert who can blend traditional optimization techniques with modern AI-assisted content workflows. You will be responsible for the full SEO lifecycle—from technical audits to WordPress management and performance reporting—ensuring all strategies are tailored specifically for the Australian market.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM NSW Time (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Management: Manage SEO campaigns for 10–15 clients, ensuring high-quality delivery across diverse industry backgrounds.
  • Technical Audits: Perform in-depth technical SEO audits using tools like Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.
  • Content Strategy: Utilize AI tools for content creation while maintaining strict quality control and thorough cross-referencing to ensure brand authority.
  • Technical Implementation: Manage Google Tag Manager configurations, Cloud-based SEO tools, and WordPress CMS platforms across client websites.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive SEO strategies tailored to the Australian market nuances.
  • Reporting & Communication: Prepare and deliver monthly reports detailing task completion and campaign progress; maintain clear, transparent communication with the internal team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing multiple SEO accounts, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Proficiency in SEO software including Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with WordPress CMS management.
  • Excellent English communication skills with the ability to articulate complex SEO concepts clearly.
  • Knowledge of AI content creation tools with a heavy emphasis on quality control.
  • Demonstrated accountability, transparency, and a strong commitment to following established agency protocols.
  • Ability to adapt strategies for the Australian market.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Cloud-based SEO tools and advanced workflows (Highly Regarded).
  • Familiarity with Google Tag Manager implementation and tracking (Preferred).
  • Ability to start immediately (targeting next week).

Scope:

  • Full-time position with immediate start (ASAP, targeting next week)
  • Portfolio management of 10-15 active SEO client accounts
  • Direct integration with agency team and established workflows
  • Month-to-month engagement with potential for long-term growth
  • Working hours aligned with Australian business operations (2-3 hour time difference maximum)
  • Collaborative role requiring regular communication and reporting to internal stakeholders

Side Note

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
