We are seeking a Financial Reporting & Financial Modeling Specialist to join our clients' remote team. This is a contract opportunity for a highly analytical finance professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys transforming complex financial data into clear insights that support strategic decision-making.

This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on financial modeling expertise, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client deliverables in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust 3-statement financial models, rolling forecasts, and scenario analyses across multiple client engagements
• Prepare investor-ready financial reports, executive dashboards, and board presentations
• Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and performance drivers
• Transform large and complex datasets into clear, actionable financial insights
• Design data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to support executive decision-making
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline financial reporting processes
• Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and modeling to support strategic initiatives
• Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure high-quality, accurate deliverables

Candidate Profile

• 5+ years’ experience in FP&A, financial reporting, or financial modeling
• Experience working in fast-paced environments such as startups, consulting, or multi-client settings
• Advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets skills, including complex modeling and formulas
• Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude) to enhance analysis, reporting, or financial modeling workflows
• Strong knowledge of data visualization and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms
• Ability to quickly analyze large datasets and identify meaningful trends
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality outputs
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial insights clearly to non-financial stakeholders
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline
• MBA, CPA, or CFA highly regarded
