Content Manager

Job Overview

Our client is looking for an experienced Content Manager to oversee and manage the content pipeline across two premium consumer food and beverage brands. This role focuses on translating brand direction and marketing briefs into high-quality content across digital channels, including social media, e-commerce platforms, email marketing, and advertising. The position is highly collaborative, working closely with the Marketing Lead to execute creative direction while coordinating with freelance creatives such as photographers, videographers, and designers when needed. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, capable of producing content directly while ensuring consistency and quality across all brand touchpoints.

Schedule 

  • Must be flexible during client business hours (9:00 AM–5:00 PM London Time), 20 hours per week. Note: 3–4 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Content Production & Asset Creation: Translate brand briefs into finished content assets including social media graphics, digital ads, email visuals, and website imagery. Produce content directly using Canva or Adobe Express and coordinate with freelance creatives for specialized assets.
  • Digital Channels Management: Maintain and update Shopify product pages, imagery, banners, and product content. Manage and update Amazon listings, including A+ Content and Brand Store pages. Coordinate with the email marketing agency to provide assets and copy.
  • Social Media Management: Plan and maintain a content calendar across Instagram and other platforms. Create or coordinate static posts, carousels, and short-form video. Schedule posts and monitor basic performance metrics.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all content aligns with brand identity, tone, and visual guidelines. Maintain organized digital asset libraries and review content before publishing to ensure it remains on-brand.

Requirements

  • 5–6 years of experience managing content for consumer brands (food, beverage, wellness, or lifestyle preferred).
  • Strong hands-on design skills using Canva or similar tools.
  • Experience managing Shopify content, including product pages and imagery.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central, including listings and A+ Content.
  • Experience creating and scheduling social media content.
  • Excellent written English skills with the ability to write marketing copy.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple brands and workflows simultaneously.
  • Availability to overlap with UK business hours for communication and approvals.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is highly preferred.
  • Basic video editing skills in platforms like Veed or similar are highly preferred.
  • Proven experience coordinating and managing freelance creatives.

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
