Travel Sales Team Lead

Job Overview

Our client is looking for an experienced and target-driven Sales Team Leader to join a growing travel company’s sales team. In this role, you will lead by example—managing your own sales pipeline while also guiding and coaching a small team of Sales Experts in your timezone. You will be responsible for supporting team performance, running 1:1s, monitoring KPIs, and sharing insights with management to improve overall sales effectiveness. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong sales performance with leadership skills and enjoys helping others succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Manila Time, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Sales Management: Manage inbound inquiries via phone, email, and live chat while maintaining strong conversion rates and owning your personal sales pipeline.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and support a small team of Sales Experts, helping them achieve performance targets through coaching and regular 1:1 meetings.
  • Performance Tracking: Track team performance against KPIs and share insights or escalate challenges to leadership to improve overall effectiveness.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to improving sales scripts, objection-handling strategies, and team processes.
  • Consultative Selling: Build trust with prospective travelers using consultative selling and storytelling to convert inquiries into meaningful travel experiences.
  • Global Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues across different time zones, ensuring smooth handovers and clear communication.

Requirements

  • Sales Experience: Proven sales experience with a consistent track record of achieving or overachieving targets.
  • Leadership: Previous experience in a leadership role, including coaching team members and conducting performance reviews.
  • Communication: Strong communication and relationship-building skills, particularly in a B2C or lifestyle brand environment.
  • Multichannel Support: Experience handling customer conversations across phone, email, and live chat platforms.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while working independently in a remote setting.
  • Mindset: A collaborative and proactive mindset with a genuine passion for travel and customer experience.

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
