You’ll take ownership of their day-to-day financial operations using QuickBooks Online, working closely with a hands-on business owner who appreciates clear communication and reliable support. Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate daily bookkeeping and financial record keeping in QuickBooks Online
- Handle ongoing data entry and transaction management for current year operations
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare regular financial reports and summaries for management review
- Communicate proactively with leadership on financial matters and progress updates
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes as needed
- Collaborate with external CPA firm on tax preparation and compliance matters
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiency
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for financial documentation
- Provide backup support for other administrative tasks as business grows
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (certification preferred but not required)
- Proven bookkeeping experience with small businesses, franchises, or healthcare organizations
- Excellent English communication skills for daily interaction with US-based management
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
- Experience working with US-based companies and understanding of US business practices
- Bonus if you’re located in Metro Manila area for potential in-person collaboration opportunities
- It helps if you have experience in healthcare, home care, or franchise operations
- Bonus if you have experience working with CPA firms and tax preparation processes

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
