Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive Business Development / Sales Development Representative to drive new client acquisition through strategic prospecting and outbound outreach. In this role, you will research target accounts, identify decision-makers, and engage prospects through cold email, calls, and LinkedIn to generate qualified discovery meetings. You will manage pipeline activity in HubSpot, conduct discovery calls, and collaborate with the creative team to support proposal development. This position requires a self-driven sales professional experienced in remote B2B prospecting, CRM management, and building consistent sales pipeline.

Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Research and compile targeted account lists across manufacturing, tech, construction, corporate, and nonprofit sectors
  • Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Listkit, Clay, and AI tools to surface decision-makers
  • Hunt in social spaces — LinkedIn groups, industry forums, X/Twitter threads — to spot buying-intent signals
  • Personalize cold emails, call scripts, and LinkedIn messages that convert curiosity into booked discovery calls
  • Work within our cold email infrastructure (Apollo + Instantly.ai or equivalent) to manage sequenced outreach at scale

Pipeline Management

  • Log and track every touchpoint in HubSpot — 100% CRM hygiene, no exceptions
  • Maintain clear next steps and follow-up cadences so no opportunity slips through the cracks
  • Report weekly on outreach volume, meetings set, and stage progression

Discovery & Qualification

  • Conduct all discovery calls remotely via phone or video
  • Qualify leads against our ideal client profile before hand-off to the founder and production team
  • Capture detailed notes that make the virtual hand-off seamless

Proposal Collaboration

  • Coordinate with the creative team remotely to assemble accurate scope and pricing decks
  • Ensure proposals speak directly to stated pain points and align with the company's capabilities
  • Facilitate proposal walk-throughs via video call between prospects and our leadership team

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor trends in video marketing, creative services, and AI-driven production workflows
  • Share insights that inform positioning, outreach messaging, and service offerings
  • Bring at least one new outreach experiment per month

Requirements

Must-Haves:

  • 3+ years in B2B sales, SDR/BDR, or agency new-business development — founder-led company experience strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to generate pipeline and close deals entirely remotely
  • Mastery of cold email sequencing, cold-calling frameworks, and LinkedIn social selling
  • Creative, independent lead-finder who surfaces decision-makers beyond the obvious channels
  • Comfortable with HubSpot, spreadsheets, and AI prospecting tools
  • Disciplined self-starter who thrives in a fully remote environment with minimal oversight
  • Polished communicator — concise, persuasive writing and confident on video and phone calls

Strong Pluses:

  • Experience selling video production, creative services, or marketing solutions
  • Background in manufacturing, construction, or industrial sectors
  • Hands-on experience with Clay.com, Instantly.ai, or automation workflows
  • Familiarity with AI tools used in content or production pipelines

What Success Looks Like

  • Build a 300-account target list segmented by ideal client profile
  • Consistently book 8–10 qualified discovery calls per month
  • Achieve a 30% meeting-to-proposal conversion rate
  • Maintain 100% CRM hygiene — every contact and activity logged
  • Deliver at least one new outreach experiment per month

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
