Job Description:
You’ll play a crucial role in transforming a decade of financial chaos into organized, actionable records while building sustainable bookkeeping systems for the future. Client Overview:
A dynamic real estate professional who values building genuine working relationships with their virtual team members. This client appreciates daily communication and sees their remote team as integral partners in their success.
Schedule:
- Part-time (10 hours per week), Monday to Friday 8am to 10am
- Client Timezone: EST
Independent Contractor Perks:

Responsibilities:
- Reconcile and organize 10 years of backlogged financial records in QuickBooks Online
- Prioritize recent years first to support immediate tax preparation and mortgage applications
- Perform ongoing bookkeeping maintenance and accurate data entry
- Track and categorize daily mileage entries using QuickBooks integration
- Generate financial reports and maintain organized records for business planning
- Provide daily communication and progress updates to build strong working relationship
- Handle light administrative tasks including calendar management and inbox organization
- Offer guidance and training on QuickBooks best practices and optimization
- Establish efficient workflows that balance historical catch-up with current maintenance
Requirements:
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably supporting US-based companies
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online with strong reconciliation and reporting skills
- Experience with mileage tracking, expense categorization, and tax preparation support
- Excellent English communication skills for daily client interaction and relationship building
- Proven ability to work independently while maintaining consistent communication
- Bonus if you have experience with real estate industry bookkeeping
- It helps if you’re comfortable providing training and guidance to clients on financial processes

- This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
