Job Overview
We are seeking a commercially driven CFO to oversee financial strategy, reporting, and cash flow management across all businesses within the Biordi Group.
This role is focused on providing clear visibility over money coming in and out, improving
financial systems, and delivering simple, actionable reports to founders for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Oversight & Reporting:

Build and maintain weekly and monthly financial dashboards

Provide clear reporting on:
- Revenue by brand
- Cash flow position
- Expenses by category
- Inventory spend
- Marketing ROI

Present monthly financial summaries to founders
-
Ensure accurate reconciliation across Xero and payment platforms
Cash Flow Management
-
Forecast 3, 6, and 12-month cash flow
-
Monitor inventory purchasing vs available cash
-
Flag cash risks before they become problems
-
Improve payment timing (suppliers, 3PLs, ad spend, etc.)
Financial Systems & Structure

Improve reporting structure inside Xero
-
Oversee bookkeeper and ensure clean chart of accounts
-
Ensure proper receipt tracking process (VA + bookkeeping alignment)
Implement SOPs for:
- Expense approvals
- Purchase tracking
- Budget control
- Consolidate reporting across multiple entities
Strategic Financial Planning

Expansion decisions (UK, UAE, etc.)

Pricing strategy & margin improvement
-
Funding / capital planning
-
Investment decisions
-
Analyse performance per drop, per SKU, per campaign
Team Management

Oversee bookkeeper and accountants
-
Ensure BAS, tax, compliance deadlines are met

Create accountability around financial data accuracy
What We Need

Experience in eCommerce, retail, or consumer brands

Strong cash flow forecasting experience

Ability to simplify complex numbers

Commercial mindset (not just compliance)
