Job Overview
Our client is looking for a Medical Bookkeeper to be the financial backbone of a high-volume healthcare practice. In this role, you will ensure every transaction is accurately recorded and reconciled, maintaining the financial health of the practice so the medical team can focus on patient care. This position offers the flexibility to work independently while contributing meaningfully to a busy healthcare environment.

Responsibilities
- Financial Reconciliation: Reconcile all charges across a streamlined two-account system (checking and credit card) in a high-volume environment.
- Reporting: Prepare monthly reconciliation statements, profit and loss (P&L) statements, and other financial documents as needed.
- QuickBooks Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records within QuickBooks for all practice transactions.
- Operations Support: Handle payroll processing and provide invoicing support when necessary.
- Compliance & Accuracy: Manage financial data with strict attention to healthcare compliance requirements and provide timely reporting to support practice decision-making.
Requirements
- QuickBooks Certification (Required).
- Strong background in US accounting principles and practices (GAAP).
- Proven experience working with US-based clients in bookkeeping services.
- Demonstrated ability to handle high-volume transaction reconciliation with extreme accuracy.
- High level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Qualifications
- Experience with healthcare or medical practice bookkeeping (Preferred).
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance requirements (Preferred).
- Proficiency in generating and analyzing financial reports to support business growth.
