The company is expanding its social presence and is seeking a proactive Social Media Manager to help scale engagement, partnerships, and brand visibility across platforms.

Job Description

You will take ownership of the brand’s social media presence, helping develop strategy, manage daily activity, and grow engagement with audiences in the lifestyle and hospitality space. This role combines strategy, community engagement, influencer outreach, and analytics to build a strong online presence.

The ideal candidate is organized, creative, and comfortable engaging with influencers and hospitality brands while also tracking performance metrics and optimizing content strategy.

Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Management

  • Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with brand growth goals
  • Plan, schedule, and manage content across social media platforms
  • Maintain consistent posting schedules and ensure brand voice consistency
  • Identify opportunities to grow the brand’s audience and engagement

Community Engagement & Outreach

  • Engage with influencers and hospitality businesses through social media interactions
  • Like, comment, and engage with posts from Australian influencers and hospitality venues
  • Conduct outreach to potential collaborators, partners, and influencers
  • Build relationships with local creators and hospitality brands

Analytics & Performance Optimization

  • Track social media performance metrics and engagement data
  • Generate reports and insights on growth, reach, and audience engagement
  • Optimize content strategy based on analytics and performance trends
  • Recommend improvements to increase reach and engagement

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Support basic virtual assistant duties such as diary management and scheduling (optional)
  • Maintain organized documentation of partnerships, contacts, and campaign tracking

Creative Support (Optional)

  • Design simple social media graphics using Adobe Illustrator or similar tools
  • Assist in creating visual content aligned with brand aesthetics

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing social media accounts for businesses or brands
  • Strong understanding of social media strategy, engagement, and growth tactics
  • Experience analyzing social media analytics and optimizing performance
  • Excellent written English communication skills
  • Ability to engage professionally with influencers and business partners
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks independently
  • Experience using social media scheduling and reporting tools

Highly Regarded Skills & Experience

  • Experience working with lifestyle, hospitality, or influencer-focused brands
  • Graphic design skills using Adobe Illustrator or similar tools
  • Experience conducting influencer outreach or partnership management
  • Virtual assistant or administrative support experience
