Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Property Management Coordinator to provide remote administrative support for property and building management operations. This is a part-time position starting at 20 hours per week with the potential to transition to full-time based on performance. Responsibilities
- Use property management software (PropertyMe) to manage tenant and landlord communications regarding lease renewals, new leases, rent payments, and overdue accounts.
- Coordinate with tenants regarding rent collection, payment reminders, and overdue notices to ensure timely payments.
- Liaise with landlords regarding maintenance issues, repair requests, and property updates.
- Schedule and coordinate six-monthly property inspections and complete detailed inspection reports.
- Prepare and upload property advertisements with accurate details for rental listings.
- Manage building administration tasks including setting up daily cleaning schedules and distributing tasks to cleaning staff.
- Compile cleaning reports, maintenance reports, and repair reports using photos and information provided by on-site staff.
- Draft monthly newsletters and distribute them to property owners and landlords.
- Utilize building management software (MyBoss) to streamline administrative workflows and task management.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in property management or real estate administration.
- Proficiency with property management software, specifically PropertyMe.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional correspondence with tenants and landlords.
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of Queensland rental laws and regulations including proper notice periods and lease agreements.
- Familiarity with building management software such as MyBoss.
- Experience preparing property inspection reports and managing compliance documentation.
- Understanding of legal requirements for property advertisements and tenant communications in Queensland.
