Job Overview
Our client is seeking a results-driven Digital Marketing Specialist to help grow an established accounting practice by strengthening its digital presence and attracting new clients in the New Zealand market. This role focuses on developing and executing marketing strategies that increase online visibility, generate qualified leads, and position the firm as a trusted accounting partner. While SEO is a key component, the primary goal is driving visibility and client acquisition through a holistic range of digital marketing initiatives.
Client Overview The client is an established New Zealand-based accounting practice focused on building a strong online reputation. They aim to transition into a more proactive digital model to generate consistent inbound leads through strategic growth marketing and organic digital channels.

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM NZST, with 1 hour unpaid break (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities
- Growth Strategy: Develop and execute digital marketing strategies specifically designed to attract and acquire new accounting clients.
- Online Visibility: Improve the firm’s positioning in the local New Zealand market through SEO, content marketing, and organic growth strategies.
- Lead Generation: Manage and optimize website content to improve traffic, engagement, and conversion rates.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct market and competitor research to refine the firm's unique value proposition and marketing tactics.
- Performance Analysis: Track and analyze marketing metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and maximize ROI.
- Campaign Optimization: Continuously test and refine marketing initiatives to ensure a steady stream of consistent inbound leads.
Requirements
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in digital marketing, growth marketing, or demand generation.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrable ability to help businesses attract and acquire new clients through online channels.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of SEO, content marketing, and local search optimization.
- Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in tracking performance data and using insights to optimize active campaigns.
- Autonomy: Ability to work independently and take full ownership of marketing initiatives in a remote environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience marketing professional services (accounting, legal, or consulting) is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with the New Zealand market or similar English-speaking regions (AU/UK/US).
- Experience working specifically with local service-based businesses to drive regional growth.

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement.
