The focus will be on reviewing settlement agreements, ensuring accurate payment processing, and maintaining high standards of quality assurance. Responsibilities
- Settlement Processing: Assist in managing end-to-end settlement processes; learn to review and analyze settlement agreements to determine payment terms and schedules; support timely processing of payments.
- Transaction Review and Modification: Review scheduled transactions for discrepancies; work under supervision to modify transactions to align with established agreements and fees.
- Communication and Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to verify settlement information; assist in communicating with creditors to confirm settlement terms.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate records of settlement transactions under guidance, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Assist in regular audits to assess the accuracy of settlement transactions; support the implementation of corrective measures to address errors.
Requirements
- Developing analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
- Strong accuracy in financial calculations.
- Basic written and verbal communication skills with a willingness to learn professional negotiation.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- Comfortable working in a fully remote environment.
Qualifications
- Eagerness to gain familiarity with debt settlement industry practices and regulatory requirements.
- Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn CRM software and specialized tools.
