Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager
Role Overview
We are looking for a results-driven Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager to lead our digital presence and paid campaigns for a mission-driven organization. This role will own social strategy, paid advertising, performance tracking, and team supervision while working closely with the Marketing Director.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM Pacific with a 30-minute paid break

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute social media strategies aligned with organizational goals and campaigns.
- Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns on Facebook Ads and Google Ads for non-profit initiatives.
- Oversee SEO strategy and on-page optimization in collaboration with internal and external teams.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on social media and digital marketing performance metrics.
- Develop and maintain content calendars and campaign timelines.
- Supervise and mentor a Social Media Assistant to ensure consistent execution and quality.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing Director on strategy, campaigns, and performance improvements.
- Identify opportunities to grow audience reach, engagement, and conversions.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience managing social media and digital marketing for non-profits or mission-driven organizations.
- Hands-on experience running and optimizing Facebook Ads and Google Ads.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and implementation.
- Solid experience with social media analytics, reporting, and performance optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to build and execute data-driven social media strategies.
- Experience supervising or managing junior team members or assistants.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with multi-channel digital campaigns.
- Familiarity with fundraising, awareness, or advocacy-focused marketing.
Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
