Responsibilities
- Technical Design: Prepare and support solar system designs using Pylon software; review and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
- Regulatory Compliance: Manage distributor applications and process Certificates of Electrical Safety (CES) and related regulatory paperwork.
- Rebate Management: Coordinate government rebate documentation (such as STCs) and ensure all submissions are accurate and compliant with Australian standards.
- Project Coordination: Support end-to-end solar project workflows from design through to approvals; liaise with installers, field teams, and customers to ensure smooth delivery.
- Operational Support: Maintain accurate project records and provide general administrative support across solar operations to ensure audit readiness.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a solar administrative role within an Australian energy or electrical company (Essential).
- Strong understanding of Australian solar workflows, STC rebates, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience handling distributor applications (e.g., Ausgrid, Endeavour, Energex) and compliance documentation.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in, or a strong ability to learn, Pylon software.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong background working within trade-based operations.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with specific Australian state-based electrical safety certificates (e.g., NSW Fair Trading, Energy Safe Victoria).
- Experience in a fast-paced electrical or construction environment (Preferred).
