Our client is looking for a specialist who can work directly with the business owners to manage accurate financial records, reconcile high volumes of transactions, and ensure the company is prepared for future growth.

Client Overview

A thriving home services franchise specializing in construction and repair work with 10+ employees generating $120k-$160k in monthly revenue. They’re emerging from a strategic growth phase with exciting expansion initiatives in place. The business uses modern systems like QuickBooks and ServiceTitan CRM, offering you the opportunity to work with industry-leading tools while making a real impact on their financial operations.

  • Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM EST (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Cleanup Project: Perform comprehensive cleanup of 1,300+ unreconciled transactions and bring all books current.
  • Daily Maintenance: Handle daily bookkeeping for 30-40 transactions across multiple revenue streams.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile bank accounts and accurately categorize transactions in QuickBooks.
  • Payroll Support: Prepare payroll details and supporting documentation for seamless processing.
  • Accounts Receivable: Manage AR follow-ups via email to collect outstanding customer payments.
  • Tax Readiness: Prepare organized financial data and reports for tax filing and accountant review.
  • Systems Integration: Navigate between ServiceTitan CRM and QuickBooks to ensure data accuracy and synchronization.
  • Closing Processes: Support month-end and year-end closing processes to maintain financial integrity and prevent future backlogs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with QuickBooks (Non-negotiable).
  • Strong bookkeeping and accounting fundamentals with specific experience in "cleanup" projects.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills for high-volume transaction processing.
  • Reliable internet connection and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong written communication skills for professional collections and vendor interaction.

Qualifications

  • Experience with ServiceTitan CRM or a construction industry background (Preferred).
  • Previous experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) or collections (Preferred).
