Job Description
You’ll play a crucial role in helping people achieve their immigration goals by providing essential behind-the-scenes support to experienced immigration consultants. This hybrid position combines paralegal expertise with administrative excellence, allowing you to develop deep knowledge of Canadian immigration law while ensuring smooth operations. You’ll work directly with the case processing team in a collaborative remote environment, contributing to successful outcomes that genuinely change people’s lives.

Client Overview
A growing Canadian immigration consulting firm that helps clients navigate complex immigration processes under strict regulatory oversight. The company operates in a regulated legal environment where attention to detail and compliance are paramount. They’re expanding their support team to handle increasing caseloads and provide better service to clients pursuing their Canadian immigration dreams.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday from 9:30 AM to 5:30 AM Ontario, Canada Time EST, with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break (7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Handle legal administrative tasks and paperwork for Canadian immigration cases
  • Manage calendar scheduling and appointment coordination for the case processing team
  • Receive and professionally manage incoming client phone calls and inquiries
  • Complete and process immigration forms and documentation with precision
  • Provide comprehensive back-office support to front-end case managers
  • Organize and maintain detailed case files and client records
  • Support the legal administrative workflow for immigration consulting services
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and data protection standards
  • Overall admin and social support when necessary

Requirements

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication abilities for professional phone interactions
  • Experience with legal documentation and form completion
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision
  • Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality and data security
  • Bonus if you have immigration law experience or paralegal background
  • It helps if you’re familiar with Canadian immigration processes and regulations.

  • This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
