Social Media & Shopify Marketing Specialist

Role Overview:

We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media & Shopify Marketing Specialist to develop, implement, and manage high-impact social media strategies. This role will focus on increasing brand visibility, engagement, and conversions across Facebook and Instagram, while collaborating directly with the business owner and external consultants.

Work Structure & Scope:

  • Work directly with the business owner, aligned with the Central Time Zone schedule
  • Collaborate closely via screen sharing and video calls for training and strategy execution
  • Take ownership of implementing and executing established marketing plans

Schedule:

  • Mondays to Fridays, 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm (US Central Time, 20 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, edit, and schedule engaging content, including reels and short-form videos for Facebook and Instagram
  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media marketing strategies and content calendars
  • Conduct proactive community engagement, including outreach to influencers and participation in relevant groups
  • Perform direct message outreach to build brand awareness and strategic partnerships
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide detailed reports on clicks, engagement, and growth metrics
  • Manage and update Shopify listings, including product edits and optimization
  • Implement the marketing roadmap provided by an external sales consultant
  • Execute a high-volume posting strategy to maintain competitive market presence

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing social media for US-based clients (APPLICATIONS WITH PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED)
  • Strong understanding of current social media trends, algorithms, and audience engagement strategies
  • Experience with Shopify product management and listing optimization
  • Excellent content creation, storytelling, and strategy execution skills
  • Ability to explain marketing strategies clearly to clients with limited marketing knowledge
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting campaign data

  • This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
