Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable and proactive Marketing Assistant to support the day-to-day marketing activities for Slot Designer, an AI-powered software platform built for the gaming industry. This is a remote, full-time role suited to someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and genuinely curious about learning new tools.

You will work closely with our marketing lead to keep our systems running smoothly, grow our contact database, support content and reporting, and help us make the most of AI tools that are becoming a core part of how we work.

Note: You do not need to be a tech expert. The AI tools used in this role are practical and straightforward — most people are comfortable with them within a month or two. We are happy to train the right person, and we value curiosity and willingness to learn just as highly as prior experience.

What You Will Be Doing

Marketing Operations & Admin Support

  • Support the day-to-day running of marketing activities and admin tasks
  • Help coordinate campaigns, content schedules, and outreach activities
  • Assist with monthly marketing reporting — pulling data, checking accuracy, and preparing summaries
  • Provide general support across marketing, research, and operations as needed

CRM & Database Management

  • Keep our CRM up to date — contacts, deals, and marketing records
  • Perform regular contact clean-ups and remove outdated or inactive records
  • Manage email marketing platform tasks including database segmentation
  • Perform data backups and help maintain accuracy across our marketing systems
  • Help grow the marketing database through LinkedIn-based research and outreach strategies

Website & Digital Content

  • Help maintain our website — refreshing content pages, landing pages, and forms
  • Support basic SEO hygiene tasks such as internal linking and content consistency checks
  • Monitor analytics across LinkedIn, Google Analytics, and CRM platforms and flag anything noteworthy
  • Assist with reviewing and maintaining digital content accuracy across channels

AI Tools & Workflow Support

  • Use AI assistants like Claude or ChatGPT to help with research, drafting content, and summarising information
  • Follow AI-assisted workflows — preparing inputs, reviewing outputs, and flagging anything that looks incorrect
  • Write simple, clear instructions to guide AI tools toward the results we need
  • Be open to learning new tools as our product and processes continue to develop

What We Are Looking For

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a marketing support, admin, or research role
  • Comfortable working with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Monday.com
  • Familiar with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace
  • Good attention to detail, especially when working with data and contact records
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing and website management (WordPress or similar)

AI & Technology

You don't need to have all these skills already — they are practical and straightforward to learn. What matters is that you are open to using AI tools as part of your everyday work.

  • Comfortable using AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) for everyday tasks such as research, drafting content, and summarising information
  • Able to write clear, simple instructions to guide AI tools and get useful, accurate outputs
  • Comfortable learning browser-based automation tools for web research and data collection tasks
  • Able to work within AI-assisted workflows — this means preparing inputs, checking outputs for accuracy, and flagging anything that doesn't look right
  • Applies common sense and attention to detail when reviewing AI-generated content to ensure quality

The Kind of Person We Want

  • Curious — you like figuring things out and are not put off by learning something new
  • Reliable and organised — you follow through, meet deadlines, and keep things tidy
  • Positive about AI and automation — you see it as something that makes your work easier, not harder
  • A team player who communicates clearly and works well within a structured remote team

Nice to Have (Not Required)

  • Familiarity with SEO or digital content best practices
  • Experience with Monday.com, Notion, or similar project management tools
  • Any exposure to the gaming, software, or SaaS industries
